Presentation Topics

More Than a P.E.P. Talk
How we look at the world impacts the way we view it.  Be inspired in this session to know that you control each and every day in the classroom. It is your choice to be a Positive Energy Person.  Staff are left with practical ways to deal with negativity from students, parents and colleagues and how they can be fulfilled educators who are in it for their entire career.

The Why of Standards Referenced Reporting
What is the best way to communicate our student’s mastery to all stakeholders?  This workshop deals with why we need to change grading practices and give practical approaches to tracking student mastery without overwhelming a plate that is already overflowing for teachers.  Teachers will find increased buy-in to a Standards Referenced Reporting System in your district.

Brain Breaks and Active Teaching Strategies
Often teachers are so focused on “getting through the curriculum” that they forget to engage students in learning.  In this session, teachers are active participants learning how to actively engage their students so that learning can be what it is meant to be…fun!
